Light in the Night!

I don't know who said "The darkest nights produce the brightest stars," but I do know that life often parallels that saying. The nights offer a special treat of resplendent beauty. The beauty of the night sky is always with us, but we are often unable to see the majority of it due to light pollution and other factors. There are many ways that photographers go about bringing the light's beauty out in the night sky. Aristotle Onasis once said, "It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light." Exactly Aristotle - you could have been a photographer. We must focus. There are many tools used by photographers today - from apps to star trackers, special lenses and cameras that help us see, identify, and photograph the magic of the night. You name it, and it is out there. Knowledge of interplanetary and celestial events and how and to capture them go a long way toward photographic success. Sleep deprivation on the photographer's part is also a major factor.

The Bible says "He counts the stars and knows them by name - Not one of them is missing." Isaiah 40:26
